Cranbrook House and Gardens in Bloomfield Hills was the perfect setting for Nicole and Ryan’s engagement session this past fall. Nestled among historic architecture and scenic landscapes, this location provided a breathtaking backdrop for their love story.

Nicole and Ryan are tying the knot this May at the stunning Pine Knob Carriage House, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to capture their big day! Nicole was referred to me by a mutual friend (thanks, Ariel!), and from the first Facetime call, I knew we’d be a perfect match. We finally met in person on a sunny November morning, and the connection was instant.

Exploring Cranbrook House and Gardens

Even in late fall, Cranbrook House and Gardens offers endless charm. While the gardens were preparing for winter, the estate’s grand architecture and the towering trees provided gorgeous settings for photos. We strolled the grounds, stopping at stone archways, winding pathways, and the house itself, which gave their photos a timeless, romantic feel.

Cranbrook is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions, and it’s easy to see why. If you’re considering locations for your engagement photos, Cranbrook House and Gardens should be at the top of your list.
