Morning Preparations and Touching Tributes

The day began at the scenic Shepherd’s Hollow, where I reunited with Julie, an elementary school teacher whose heart is as warm as her smile, and Wade, a pilot exuding calm. The morning was alive with laughter and sentimental moments, including a special photo of Julie’s late father, serving as a tender tribute to his memory.

The Emotional First Look

Julie and Wade chose to have a first look before their ceremony, a moment filled with anticipation and joy. As they stood in the quiet hallway across from the bathrooms, their eyes lit up with love and excitement, a beautiful moment that I was honored to capture.

After the heartfelt first look, it was time for some fun with the bridal party. We took advantage of the venue’s spacious interiors for group photos, capturing the laughter and excitement of the day. Not letting the rain stop us, we also stepped outside briefly, where the misty weather added a romantic, ethereal quality to the images. The vibrant energy of the bridal party was a joy to photograph.

A Ceremony Framed by Nature’s Drama

The ceremony was initially planned outdoors, but the rain necessitated a quick change of plans to inside. This shift didn’t dampen spirits; instead, it added a unique charm to the day. As soon as the bride and groom exchanged their vows, the skies cleared, and sunlight streamed through the venue’s glass, enveloping everyone in a warm, radiant glow that was nothing short of magical.

Post-ceremony, the break in the weather allowed us to capture stunning bride and groom portraits amidst the verdant beauty of Shepherd’s Hollow. Julie and Wade were a vision against the lush backdrops, their love for each other shining as brightly as the sun that peeked through the trees.

The reception unfolded in Shepherd’s Hollow’s spectacular glass-walled venue, much like a greenhouse, filled with natural light and surrounded by the lush forest. The modern, airy space was perfect for an evening of celebration, where guests danced and celebrated the union of Julie and Wade under the starlit sky visible through the clear ceiling.
