Now you all know, Detroit holds a special place in my heart. When Deema and Devon chose Capitol Park to meet up for their engagement session, I was so happy! Detroit adds an extra dash of magic, and this historic gem became the perfect canvas for their love story.

Deema and Devon brought their A-game, infusing the session with personalities, vibes, and love. No forced poses – just genuine emotions and stolen glances, making hearts do a happy dance. Partners in crime since Michigan State days – GO GREEN – they’ve taken on Washington DC for career adventures. Now, they’re making their way back home to celebrate their wedding at Waterview Loft this summer.

After exploring what the park had to offer, we detoured a couple of blocks East to Cadillac Square, checking out some of the pop-ups at the market.

Cannelle Bakery

After a quick pitstop at Cannelle Bakery for a coffee warm-up, we wrapped things up right where we started. The stunning city skyline served as our backdrop.
