Courthouse Wedding | The War Memorial & Apparatus Room | Kathryn + Eric

Since the day Kathryn announced her engagement to Eric, I wanted so badly to photograph their big day. When she contacted me a few weeks before their November wedding about shooting their courthouse ceremony, I was SO incredibly excited!! 🥰⁣

Eric is in the military, which can make wedding planning and setting dates a little tricky… So when he realized he had a free weekend, they knew sooner was definitely better than later! ⁣

Eric traveled to Michigan from DC the third weekend in November and he and Kathryn were married the next morning. We shot their portraits at the beautiful Grosse Pointe War Memorial, where Kathryn and Eric shared their first dance as husband and wife. They ended their day at the The Apparatus Room in Detroit for a celebratory luncheon. And for anyone that knows their full story, knows that happy endings truly exist. ❤️⁣

Congratulations Eric and Kathryn! You two are such a beautiful couple! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day! 😘⁣
