Not your average
Detroit Wedding Photography collections

Before we get started, let me say one thing:

These aren’t collections that you’ll find on every other wedding photographer’s website. I believe that each wedding is completely unique, and therefore deserves a customized package designed by you!

Instead of boxing you in and making you choose between 2 or 3 standard collections, I encourage you to build your package based on:

• Your estimated guest count
• How many locations you’ll be traveling to and from on your day
• What events you want to remember the most

Base of 7 Hours of Wedding Day Coverage

In my experience, most couples planning a full wedding day need an average of 7 hours of coverage. Anything less and you typically won’t have documentation of the most important events on your day for both you and your partner!

Additional Hours of Coverage

Let me tell you something: My average couple either decides up front that they want an additional 1-2 hours of coverage, or they realize they may need them closer to their big day. 7 hours is typically the sweet spot when it comes to coverage, but depending on your wedding day timeline and locations, you might need more. However, if you’re unsure, I’m just an email away! I help all of my couples create the perfect timeline.

Don’t just rely on your online gallery to preserve your precious wedding photos for your children, grandchildren, and future generations. Having a physical album to reflect on and pass down is an invaluable addition to your wedding photography package and one that I always recommend you invest in.

Second Photographer

I advise my couples to add a second photographer if you’re having 200-250+ guests in attendance and have several locations to travel between. Unfortunately, I can’t be in two places at once (wouldn’t it be cool if I could?!), so if you want a full-coverage experience, that’s where the second photographer comes in!

You don’t need a second photographer if you’re, for example, having a 100-person wedding with the getting ready suite, ceremony site, and reception location all on the same property.

Being a wedding photographer for over a decade, I’ve worked with countless second photographers and have handpicked the best of the best to join my team. If you choose to add one to your package, you can be 100% confident that you’re getting a photographer who’s equally as talented - if not more - as I am!

Now that you have the rundown, here are your next steps:

When should we book our engagement session?

I love to get you on my schedule, no matter what the season or month, right after officially booking. That way we can start planning your session together right away!

Here are answers to questions you might have

How many gallery images will we receive with 7 hours of coverage?

You can expect an average of 100 images per hour of coverage.  A 7-hour day averages 700 curated gallery images.

If we choose not to have an engagement session, will that affect our price?

Engagement sessions are a complementary non-negotiable for a reason! You’re able to get in front of my lens and learn what it feels like to be photographed with your partner before your actual wedding day. And, selfishly, I want to meet you! The last thing I want is to walk into your wedding day not knowing a thing about you. It’s much easier to get to know each other through an engagement session so that you know how things are gonna go down by the time wedding day rolls around!

What does a typical wedding day timeline look like?

All wedding days are unique, but a perfect wedding day timeline for me is to arrive about an hour before the bride (or you) puts your dress on and stay until an hour after the first dance. I am happy to come earlier or stay later, but this rough timeline allows me to capture all of the main events of the day!

What does a typical engagement session look like?

I love engagement sessions! First off, I want to meet you! Once your wedding day rolls around, we are already great friends. Your engagement session is a time for us to spend together chatting, laughing, learning all about one another, and shooting some pretty rad pictures along the way. It’s laid back, FUN, and a great way for you to get used to being in front of my camera before your big day.
