With all the challenges that have come with a worldwide pandemic, there have been so many blessings too. It’s forced me to slow down. Not only with my usual schedule, but with my work. When I first started working as a professional photographer, I shot just about everything (and everyone!). Once I began photographing weddings full time, I wasn’t able to book as many family sessions as I would have liked. And man, I’ve missed those family sessions.
So although my heart is a little sad with all of my postponed 2020 weddings, it’s being filled with some wonderful, beautiful, amazing families… and I am so, so grateful.
Thank you to my oldest and dearest clients and friends, the Thompson family. We got together a few weeks ago to photograph their gorgeous family of six. If you ever wondered what a family session looks like when shooting with me… this is it. Lots of laughter and snuggles and playing in the sand (or grass, or water, or flowers).
I am now booking family sessions for the remainder of the summer and well into the fall. <3
