Madi and Enrico had big plans to get married at the Henry Ford Museum this month, but due to Covid, they rescheduled their big celebration for next year. This didn’t stop these two from wanting to go through with their ceremony on their original date, so when Madi asked if I would come to her childhood home to photograph her and Enrico exchanging vows, I was so happy they wanted me to be a part of it.
Her dad told me that when Madi was a child, she always said she wanted to get married in her backyard. Although this wasn’t her and Enrico’s original plan, it was beautiful, intimate, and perfect for the two of them. They were surrounded by their immediate families while they became man and wife. Although their guest list was small, it was a treat to see some of their neighbors setting up lawn chairs at the road to get a glimpse of the beautiful bride. 🙂 The rest of their loved ones that could not attend were able to watch via FaceBook live.
Special thanks to their cellist Ian Wolfe and officiant Justin Powell for helping to make their day a beautiful one.
Congratulations Madi and Enrico! I am so happy for the two of you and am looking forward to your big Museum celebration next year! xo
